Chanukah begins in 27 days. Give before the first candle

From your gift to a family's table.

Feed Israel is an American charity with volunteers across Israel. We raise money in the US, and our volunteers bring food to the doors of seniors, Holocaust survivors and families: weekly boxes all year, and holiday boxes before every chag.

  1. 1

    You give

Gifts come in through feedisrael.org and donate.feedisrael.org, in dollars, pounds, euros or shekels.

  2. 2

    We send it to Israel

Our board approves every dollar that goes to the work in Israel, and every one is reported to the IRS. In 2025 that was $3.06 million.

  3. 3

    Food reaches the door

Our volunteers pack the boxes and carry them to the door: weekly boxes all year, and holiday boxes before every chag.

On the route

Photos from our team in Israel.

  1. Three volunteers climb a stairwell, the first carrying a Feed Israel box, a volunteer in a kippah following behind.

    Up the stairs

Volunteers carry the boxes up to the apartment, however many flights.

  2. Two volunteers in kippot at an apartment door, one knocking and one holding a Feed Israel box.

    The knock

A knock, a name, a few minutes at the door. Every week, for many people on the route, it is the visit they wait for.

  3. A large Feed Israel box sits on a dining table in an entrance hall while a volunteer in a Feed Israel shirt talks with a woman in a red dress.

    On the table

Holiday food on the family's own table, in their own home, with nothing to fill out.

How every grant is checked

This is the grant policy set out in our Form 990 for 2024 and 2025.

  • 01

    A written application

Each organization we fund applies in writing, with its founding documents, evidence that it is the equivalent of a US charity, and recent financial statements.

  • 02

    Board approval

Grants are approved by our board, which can withdraw approval at any time.

  • 03

    Ongoing monitoring

Every grant can come with periodic reports, a review of their books and records, and visits on site.

  • 04

    Sanctions screening

Every grant is checked against the US Treasury's sanctions list (OFAC).
